Anyone who wants to be naturalised in the canton of Lucerne has to prove they know the laws, the particularities and the history. In our quiz you can show whether you would get the red passport.

Whoever wants to become Swiss can apply for naturalisation. Part of the whole procedure is a naturalisation test, which asks about politics, history and customs, tuned to each canton.

And between us: many of these questions have it in them, and bring a sweat even to the brow of born Lucerners.

As with so much else, there is an app for the naturalisation test too. Vincenzo Casini, Italian by birth and AI Architect at UEFA, developed a free app in the course of his own naturalisation procedure, meant to prepare people for the test.

For some weeks now it has carried concrete questions about the canton of Lucerne as well. Across 210 questions people can put their knowledge of the canton to the test. The questions are based on official cantonal sources, as Casini writes. The developer put together for zentralplus the ten questions on which users stumble most often.
