By downloading, accessing or using the Swiss Naturalization Test app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Vincenzo Casini (the "Developer", "we", "us").
The App is an unofficial study tool that helps you prepare for the Swiss naturalization test through quizzes, games and practice questions. It is provided for educational purposes only. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any Swiss federal, cantonal or communal authority, and it does not provide legal or official advice.
The App is intended for users aged 16 and over. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 16 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, which is never below 13, and that below 16 you have the consent of a parent or guardian).
You can use the App anonymously. You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to secure your progress and sync it across your devices. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google or Apple account secure. As described in our Privacy Policy, an anonymous account may be created automatically on first launch.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
We may remove or reset any display name, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
The App shows a public leaderboard using a display name (by default one that is generated automatically; you may set your own). Your display name must not be offensive, discriminatory, extreme-political, sexually explicit, impersonate another person, or infringe anyone's rights.
We reserve the right to remove or reset any display name without prior notice. In line with the Digital Services Act (Art. 17), when we do, we tell you the reason through an in-app message or email.
To report an inappropriate display name, email swisscitizenshiptest@gmail.com. We reset a reported name in our database within 72 hours of a reasonable report.
Scores and rankings may be adjusted or reset to keep the leaderboard fair.
The App, its design, text and original content belong to the Developer and are protected by law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your own preparation. Official examination questions and materials remain the property of the respective authorities; they are referenced for educational purposes only.
The App is free and shows no ads. It may offer voluntary donations (through Apple In-App Purchase on iOS, or an external service such as PayPal on other platforms). Donations are optional, they support the project, and they do not unlock any feature. Payments are handled by the relevant app store or provider under their own terms. Except where the law requires otherwise, donations are non-refundable.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the questions accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that the content is complete, free of errors, or identical to the current official test. Using the App does not guarantee that you will pass any official naturalization test. The competent Swiss authority is always the final decision-maker on naturalization.
To the extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, in cases of gross negligence or intent), nor your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we handle and why.
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or limit access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
We may update the App and these Terms. The current version is always published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Swiss courts, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Your mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
